We didn’t fly half the way round the world just to see a statue of Jacko and buy a case-load of Marzipan but, in many ways, it was the defining moment of our trip.
Travel Tip While visiting Budapest everyone says you should stay on the East bank (Pest) but should visit the castle etc on the West bank (Buda) – and they’re right. They also say that the boat trip down the Danube is a waste of money but we did it anyway – and they’re right about that too.
